GET SHORTY WITH IT
From embroidered shorts in thigh-high lengths to denim bermudas, you have a bevy of shorts styles and lengths to try on for size this summer. If you’re looking to keep your legs covered (but still cool), reach for a knee-length pair in a vibrant summer hue or opt for a pair of flowy, tie-waist shorts for a beach-ready boho look as you soak up the sun.
BREEZE THROUGH IN LIGHT LAYERS
If you’re planning on strolling through city streets or a sandy stretch, go for lightweight, packable layers. Structured jean jackets (in a light wash), cargo jackets and floral kimonos are perfect vacation staples to have on hand if the temps start to drop.
Suns Out, Dresses Out
Headed for hot weather? It’s the perfect time to take a sundress for a spin! If you’ve got legs for days and want to show them off, go for a bold sundress and strappy sandals (flat or not!), then pop on a cross body bag as your hands-free carryall. If you’re not into dresses, try out a flowy pair of palazzo pants instead.
Now go on, be your own style icon during your vacation! There are no hard and fast rules for what to wear when you’re in your 50s so wear what makes you feel fabulous!
