As we are starting to think about transitional outfits for fall and the cold, winter months, cropped pants might be the items that we just don’t want to put away. Instead of shelving them, rock them all year long!
Here are a few styling tips for wearing cropped pants all year:
- Show some skin: As long as temperatures aren’t sub-zero, let a little bit of your ankle peep out to keep your legs looking extra long! Make sure there’s at least tiny bit of space between your boots and the end of your jeans.
- Cuff your skinny jeans & layer:You can cuff your skinny jeans once or twice to pair for a sleek look with your ankle boots or pumps. Cover up from the cold with a few layers—like a turtleneck paired with a cargo jacket or a blazer placed over a button-up.
- Try a cropped denim trend: If you live in a climate where you can get away with just jeans in the winter, try out a cropped denim trend like this season’s cropped flare paired with a block heeled ankle boot.
When the weather gets cold, it doesn’t mean that you have to shelve summer trends. It’s all about layering wisely!
