Let’s face it—T-shirts aren’t the first thing you think of when you want to look glamorous at a hip cocktail party. But, thanks to the athleisure trend, you can totally rock the graphic & still be chic. A current popular pairing is wearing your tee with some distressed boyfriend jeans, textured slip-on sneakers and a moto jacket. It’s sure to give you that casual-cool look.
Alternatively, for a more sleek appearance, try your tee with a pair of ankle jeans and a pointed-toe heel, layered with a blazer similar to this look. Add a few layering necklaces to keep it current. Or, when in doubt, stay monochromatic for a more sharp ensemble. For example, if the tee is black, you can dress it up with black dress pants and jacket as seen here.
