How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is effortless and chic. I don’t want my outfit to be fussy or complicated, but always comfortable and cool. I enjoy a timeless element combined with current trends. I also love a street-style vibe.
What’s your favorite part of being a Stylist?
I love putting together the perfect individual outfit for each client, getting to know them over time, and building a beautiful wardrobe for them. I like introducing them to a new brand that fits their body and style perfectly. That way, they can always go back to that brand and know it is probably something they will enjoy and wear. The best feedback is when a look I put together helps give them the confidence to land that new job position or when they have a special event where everyone loves what they are wearing. I’m so lucky to celebrate those moments with them. Watching someone become more confident over time is magical!
How did you get into fashion?
I’ve been fascinated by fashion my entire life and I love seeing how people use style, clothing and accessories to show their personality. I love to style my friends and family. I get tons of inspiration just by people watching.
What is your personal style mantra?
Getting dressed is fun! It doesn’t have to be a lot of work. Embrace the uncomplicated. Fill your closet with pieces you love, and only pieces you love and donate the rest. Imagine having the perfect wardrobe, and you’ll enjoy every morning when you get to pick something out.
Which spring trend are you most excited for?
For casual wear, I’m intrigued by the fisherman aesthetic. Think fisherman sandals with some cropped jeans or cool shorts and a sweatshirt or even a romantic lacy top. For dressing up a little more, I’m loving a bright dress, especially yellow this season.
What’s a spring style you can’t live without?
I’m obsessed with barrel jeans this year. I can’t get enough! I want to incorporate them into all of my outfits. You can dress them down with a flowy tee or dress them up with a tailored button-down shirt or sweater tank. I personally only wear flat shoes, and it’s a great shape to pair with sandals, cool sneakers or jelly shoes this year.
Give us your best advice for how to refresh your closet.
Take some time trying on everything in your closet and making different outfits with all the pieces. Once you clean it out and love everything, make some Pinterest boards with the pieces you have and get inspiration there. Fill in your closet with some new pieces by sharing with your stylist the look you’re going for. If you have specific pieces you need to style, describe those to your Stylist so they can pair matching pieces for you. Wear everything with your shoulders back and head held high.
What is the most common style question you get from your clients? And how do you answer?
The most common question I get from clients is how to make their wardrobe more current and up-to-date. My advice is to try new things. You can always send it back if it doesn’t work for you. I also suggest buying a few new pieces every season instead of doing all of your shopping once or twice a year. I think adding some new things on a monthly to quarterly basis is key to a fresh, modern wardrobe while you’re building your style.

My favorite part of being a Stylist is building genuine relationships with clients and helping them look amazing and feel confident.
How did you get into fashion?
My passion for fashion was inspired by my grandmother, a true fashionista and trailblazer in the industry. She earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and also studied at Carnegie Mellon University. Her career as an undercover buyer and comparison shopper for major department stores such as Horne’s, Kaufmann’s, and Gimbel’s was both innovative and influential. Beyond her professional achievements, she was deeply committed to giving back to her local community. I was always in awe of her creativity, determination and generosity. Her example sparked my own desire to pursue a career in fashion and to make a meaningful impact through my work.

Confidence is the most attractive quality, and I believe it can be cultivated through fashion and self-expression.

Build a capsule wardrobe with versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched to create a variety of looks. Each season, incorporate a few fashion-forward items to keep things fresh and exciting while staying true to your personal style.
What is the most common style question you get from your clients? And how do you answer?
Clients often ask how to identify their personal style. Style is a journey, and it naturally evolves with the seasons of life. I always begin by focusing on what makes a client feel most comfortable—because when you’re comfortable, confidence follows. From there, we work together to blend lifestyle needs with current trends to discover a look that resonates authentically.

Be open to trying something new—you might be pleasantly surprised by a piece you’d never choose for yourself!

I worked for luxury brands in stores for years before starting my first job in corporate retail. I stumbled upon Stitch Fix unexpectedly and fell in love with the unique business model. It really stood out to me as a rare chance to be a part of something so ahead of its time.

Denim on denim on denim—always and forever (+ all year round!). This spring, I’m also excited to try some new shades of white for a monochromatic look, and bring more color into my style through florals and pastel colors I wouldn’t normally wear. Spring is the time to have fun and explore new styles.

Don’t be afraid to just let it go. If it’s something that you know you’ll never wear, make room for something new that you’ll love instead of holding on to something “just in case.” It feels so freeing to have a fresh start for a new season.
What is the most common style question you get from your clients? And how do you answer?
So many of my clients want to know more about how different categories and brands fit. Fit is so important to all of our clients. You could love the look but if it’s uncomfortable, it’s not worth it!
What tips do you have for getting the best Fix?
The more details the better. Share as much with your Stylists as you can, and also trust us to send you some pieces that may be outside of your comfort zone. You may be pleasantly surprised which is always the best feedback for us to hear!

I had the opportunity to study in Italy during college. It was the first time I had ever traveled overseas. That began my love of travel that I’m hoping to continue to experience with my family as my two boys, Max and Miles, get older.
